Lessons with Candace
LPGA Professional Candace Merrill Candace is a native Houstonian who first discovered golf in Pasadena's J. Frank Dobie High School. She took home four district titles and earned herself a golf scholarship to Texas Tech University. After receiving her Bachelors degree in General Studies she moved back to Houston and became an Assistant Golf Professional at local golf courses and country clubs. She became a member of the LPGA Teaching and Club Professional Division in 1997 and is working toward Class A membership. In March of 2001 she resigned her position of Assistant Director of The Houston Junior Golf Program to spend more time on her game. Currently she is the LPGA Teaching Professional at the Battleground in Deer Park, Texas. While preparing to become a full time tour player Candace is giving clinics and lessons to women, juniors and men. Candace teaches all levels of play from the beginners to the advanced. She specializes in Women and Juniors but has a successful clientel of men as well.
